The platform aims to improve the capacity of value chain players and smallholders to practice environmentally sustainable/climate smart aquaculture as a business in market-integrated value chain, strengthening value chain efficiency and productivity for Value Chain Competitiveness

seeks to strengthen productive, climate change adaptation, and market integrated smallholder aquaculture aiming to reduce the national food deficit and improve aquaculture sector competitiveness.

We work with smallholder farmers, farmer associations, cooperatives, and small and medium size enterprises in the aquaculture value chain to help them grow and sell more fish, improve diets, diversify incomes, and make their livelihoods more sustainable and resilient to external shocks. We also work to raise awareness of smallholder farmer issues and represent their interests at policy and institutional level.

Platform will facilitate and enable building inclusive supply chains in which smallholder farmers out grower models and Aqua hubs would be established as business models for entrepreneurship and proving profitable business case in aquaculture.
